Every time I pass Hot Topic at my mall, I think, “One day, I will find Homestuck merch in there.”

i mean papa stilinski has just heard a gunshot, and he knows his son is being held captive by the gunman…and yet he yells for scott first.

his gut reaction after hearing a noise that could easily mean his only family has just been murdered, is to yell his son’s best friend’s name first.

and yet despite what’s happened earlier in the night, the next thing we get is this soul crushing scene that makes you feel like someone just lit your happy place on fire:

can i point out this is the same episode when Derek, who has been trying to earn Scott’s trust for two seasons now, finds out he was working for Gerard. trust is quite the theme this year

This was literally the most depressing episode of Teen Wolf ever, I think. Despite the few moments of ‘Stiles on Derek!’ happiness, everything else was just…feels.

Trust is seriously the largest overarching theme of Teen Wolf. Honestly. It’s always mentioned, whether it’s in serious conversation or just jokingly. And it usually is brought up with Stiles and Derek. Stiles wanting people to trust him, and Derek trying to trust other people, and in both attempts it usually fails.

Filed under other reasons why Stiles and Derek would be a perfect couple.
